Site Survey Notification
Sanitary Sewer Replacement in Alley Between Ford Street and N. Huber Street

Dear Project Area Residents,

The City of Anamosa is working with HR Green on a sanitary sewer replacement project near the vicinity of your home. The project involves upsizing 1,300 feet of sewer in the alley between Ford Street and N. Huber Street, from Webster Street to Main Street. HR Green has initiated a site survey for design needs.

Vobr-Niemeyer, LLC will be conducting a site survey within the project area in mid-to-late April of this year. During this time, there will be one to two people in the alley recording manhole locations, pavement extents, property boundaries, etc. Any underground utilities will also be flagged in the project area prior to the survey.

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Anamosa City Hall at 319-462-6055 ext:303

ATTENTION
City of Anamosa Residents

The City of Anamosa Utilities Department will begin its routine water main/hydrant flushing on Monday, March 27th, 2023, and last approximately until the end of April.

This Operation will take place Monday through Friday from 7:30 am until 3:30 pm.

Residents can expect discolored water and possible low water pressure during this time. The discoloration will clear up and pressure should return to normal as we move out of your area. Please refrain from washing clothes until your water runs clear.

This operation allows an opportunity to check the function of the Cities fire hydrants and is necessary to flush out the water main to provide the best quality water year-round to our residents.

If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to call City Hall at (319)-462-6055 ext. 303. We appreciate your cooperation and apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Thank You.
